How do I order glasses?

Step 1: Select the product and the desired strength
Step 2: Then click on the green order button, ‘add to cart’. You can continue shopping or go to your shopping cart to complete your order.
Step 3: Check the contents of your shopping cart.
Step 4: Then, fill in your details such as name, address, telephone number, email etc.
Step 5: You complete your order by paying.
Step 6: Check all the details again and complete your order.

Orders placed before 23:00 are normally delivered the next working day.

What strengths do your glasses have?

Can I also try on Looplabb glasses?

Looplabb does not (yet) have a physical store but there are several points of sale where you can try on Looplabb glasses. Soon it will be possible to try the glasses on online through a ‘virtual try-on’ option.

How much do your glasses cost?

All Looplabb reading glasses cost €24.95 including VAT, and the sunglasses cost €34.95 including VAT.

What payment methods do you accept?

At Looplabb you can pay securely in various ways. Below are the payment methods for the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany.

Where can I find my invoice?

After sending your glasses, we will send you the invoice by e-mail. You can also view your invoice by logging into your own Looplabb account.

What is the quality of the glasses?

Each Looplabb frame is made by hand. We combine the best parts available. And use a unique assembly method to secure each element and ensure the best quality.

The frames are made with a whole-core-colored frame that ensures color consistency, durability, and an integrated soft coating. This makes the glasses feel very pleasant and solid.

The screws and feathers are made of double hardened stainless steel, which are strong and fully integrated with the frames. Virtually indestructible.

Our ultra-thin acrylic lenses are optician-quality. They are light, very bright and offer the most refined and consistent strength available for ready-to-use reading glasses. The scratch-free coating ensures reliable crystal-clear vision, even after prolonged intensive use. The entire collection is TÜV certified – the highest quality guarantee standard.

Each pair of glasses has a handy felt case made of recycled wool, so you can always store your new glasses safely.

What protection do you have on the sunglasses?

All the lenses used for our sunglasses come with Category 3 – UV400 protection. Perfect for sun protection in everyday life.

Does Looplabb also sell multifocal glasses?

No, unfortunately we have not yet been able to find ready-made multifocal lenses that meet our requirements. In the background we are in talks with various leading lens suppliers to develop the right multifocal lenses.

Does Looplabb also sell anti blue UV light/computer glasses?

From September 2022, Looplabb will also offer computer glasses which will block 86% of the harmful blue led light.

Does Looplabb also have a physical store?

Looplabb does not (yet) have a physical store. There are several points of sale where you can try on Looplabb glasses. Send us a message via Facebook or Instagram for more information.


Shipping, returns & warranty

To which countries do you ship?

The Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany

What are the shipping costs?

At Looplabb, all orders from 2 glasses (at least € 49.00 including VAT) are shipped free of charge within the Netherlands and Belgium. In case you order 1 pair of glasses, you pay € 6.95 in shipping costs.

What is the delivery time?

Orders placed before 23:00 will be delivered the next working day.

What is the return process?

All ordered products that you receive from us have a withdrawal period of 14 days, without having to give any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, acquire physical possession of the good(s).

  • If you inform us of the fact that you are making use of the right of withdrawal, you have 14 days from that moment to return or hand over the products to us. You are on time if you return the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You can also choose to return the products without registration within 14 days and to include a note in the return package noting that you wish to return your product.
  • If you wish to make use of the right of withdrawal, we ask that you inform us by means of an unambiguous statement that you wish to withdraw from the agreement. You can use our return form, or the European model withdrawal form to let us know that you are canceling the purchase. You can send the completed form to info@looplabb.com. Use of this form is not mandatory.
  • The shipping costs for returning ordered products are for ‘own’ account and can therefore be done with the sender of your choice.
  • If you choose to exchange the product, we ask you to let us know in writing which alternative product you wish to receive. We may wait to send the alternatively chosen product until we have received the returned goods, or you have been able to prove to us that you have returned the goods. The shipping costs for sending the alternative product will be paid by Looplabb.
  • If you opt for a refund, you will receive the full purchase price, within 3-5 days of the withdrawal notice from us, in the same way as you paid. We may wait with reimbursement until we have received the goods, or you have been able to prove to us that you have returned the goods, whichever is the first.
  • You are liable for the depreciation of the goods resulting from the use of the goods, which is further necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
  • All products come with a full manufacturer’s warranty.
  • If an article breaks, we are also happy to help you to replace or fix it.

What are your warranty guidelines?

The warranty policy is automatically in effect when purchasing a product from Looplabb. Looplabb provides a two year warranty on its products. The guarantees ensure that the products meet the standards of usability, reliability, and durability. The warranties do not apply in the event of:

  • Theft or loss;
  • Intentionally inflicted damage;
  • Damage resulting from improper use, such as scratches, bumps or falls;
  • Normal wear and tear or aging of materials used; or
  • Damage due to neglect.

You acknowledge and agree that Looplabb products will break down when handled carelessly. The warranty only applies to demonstrable manufacturing defects.

The warranties no longer apply if a third party performs repair work or other work on the product, without the prior written consent of Looplabb.

If a valid warranty claim can be made, and we ask you to return the product to us, the return costs will be paid by us. If our warranty does not apply, the return costs are for you. For all items that you buy from us, the legal guarantee applies. Legal guarantee means that a product is or must do what the consumer can reasonably expect from it. The two-year extra warranty provided by Looplabb does not affect the legal warranty.

Where can I see the status of my order?

After you have placed the order, we will send you a track & trace code with which you can follow your order.

Where can I change my delivery address?

Via your own Looplabb account you can change your delivery address. However, once your order has been completed, we cannot change anything about the order in question.

I have not received my order, what now?

Check the order confirmation
In the order confirmation you will find the expected delivery time of your order. Most of our glasses are already delivered the next working day, but some glasses have a longer delivery time. Have you not received an order confirmation? Please contact our customer service.

Check your email
You have most likely received emails from us about the status of your order. Also make sure to check your spam folder. You can also view the status of your order in your Looplabb account under the heading ‘My orders’.

Check the Track & Trace code
Check the Track & Trace link in the shipping confirmation to see when the delivery of your order is planned. Delivery may be delayed. Is the Track & Trace code also inconclusive? Please contact our customer service.

What is my eye strength?

Which type of glasses suit me best?

When choosing a new spectacle frame, you need to take into account the shape of your face. For example, with a rectangular face, round glasses are very complimentary. It provides a soft facial expression and a radiant appearance, while a round face benefits from a more rectangular frame.

Hair color also influences the choice of glasses. Dark hair goes well with brown frames, but for blond hair you can better choose gray, burgundy, or pastel.

Your personal taste and style naturally play the biggest role, of course. Choose what makes you feel good, then you’re guaranteed to shine!

Are reading glasses reimbursed by my health insurer?

That depends on the conditions of your health insurer and package.
Before you buy glasses from Looplabb, it is best to check with your health insurance whether they are eligible for reimbursement. This depends entirely on your insurance and which (additional) package you have.

What is the best way to keep my glasses clean?

You use your glasses daily, so of course we need to give them a little extra care every now and then. But what is the best way to do this? You’ll need two soft wipes, lukewarm water, and pH neutral soap.

  1. Wash your hands
  2. Hold your glasses by the bridge of the nose or the legs, not the lenses
  3. Wet the wipes with lukewarm water and soap and clean the glasses
  4. Dry the glasses with the other wipe
My glasses are broken, what now?

We give a 2-year warranty on all our glasses on production and material defects.

Durability

Are Looplabb products and packaging sustainable?

Our frames are not yet fully durable, but our packaging is. In the course of 2022, we will release the first 2 Looplabb frames that are made of 65% biodegradable material. By the end of 2022, our entire collection will be replaced by models made of 65% biodegradable material.

Today’s world faces major challenges, from climate change to inequality and prejudice. Of course, we understand that one brand can not only change all this on its own, but we also know that with hard work and a positive outlook, we can make glasses where the minimum is wasted and where everyone is welcome.

We are currently working hard on our sustainability goals; we want to minimize our environmental impact, increase our positive impact to 100%, and improve the lives of thousands of people in our value chain.
