Do you not know what strength your reading glasses should have? The indicative vision test below will help you with this. Sit +/- 40 centimeters from your computer screen and make sure the font size is set to 100%. This is important, otherwise the test may show the wrong strength.
Then determine which of the sentences below you can still read clearly. The sentence in the smallest font indicates which strength is suitable for you! When in doubt, always choose the lowest strength: when in doubt between strength +1.50 and +2.00, choose strength +1.50.
Is this text the first to read clearly for you? Then you don’t need reading glasses.
Is this text the first to read clearly for you? Then +1.0 is your strength!
Is this text the first to read clearly for you? Then +1.5 is your strength!
Is this text the first to read clearly for you? Then +2.0 is your strength!
Is this text the first to read clearly for you? Then +2.5 is your strength!
Is this text the first to read clearly for you? Then +3.0 is your strength!
If your prescription is higher than +3.00, we advise you to have your reading glasses measured by your local optician!
Our reading glasses are ideal for daily use and certainly worthy of an optician, however if you need reading glasses intensively all day long for work or the like, we recommend that you have reading glasses measured for your exact eye needs.
